Tornaviaje is an OLI Corp app built to work without internet and without asking you for anything. This policy is short because there isn't much to tell — and that's on purpose.
Tornaviaje has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no ads, and doesn't send your information to any server of ours. We have no servers.
Your data lives on your phone
Everything you save in Tornaviaje — medications and their schedules, your dose history, checklist and custom items, notes, reminders, alarms, home and destination country, per diem rate and layovers — is stored only on your device.
The dose report only leaves your phone when you share it yourself, through the system menu, with whoever you choose. We can't see it, copy it, or share it. Uninstalling the app deletes that data with it.
The permissions we ask for
Notifications, and only when you schedule your first alert (a medication dose, a reminder, or the alarm). On Android 14 or later, also “Alarms & reminders”, so Android doesn’t delay your alerts; you turn it on yourself in system settings. Alarms are scheduled on your own phone; you can revoke these permissions anytime in system settings.
Tornaviaje does not ask for access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or files.
The three features that use the internet
- Packing weather: the “See” button opens a weather search for the city you typed (with your destination country) in your phone’s browser. Tornaviaje sends nothing: the search is made by your browser, under the search engine’s privacy policy. (Up to version 1.0.2, the app queried Open-Meteo directly, sending it the city name and its coordinates.)
- Reference exchange rates: when your phone has a connection, the app checks updated rates from Open ER-API and stores them on your device to use offline. The request carries none of your data. Any rate you edit always takes priority.
- Nearby hospitals/pharmacies: these buttons open Google Maps on your phone. Your location is handled by Maps under its own policy — Tornaviaje never sees it.
Everything else works offline.
Purchases
The Pro version is purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is processed by Apple or Google — we don't see or store payment data.
Children
Tornaviaje doesn't collect data from anyone, including minors.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and say so in the release notes. Given Tornaviaje's design (no servers, no accounts), we don't expect major changes.
